Adoption Fee for Dogs and Puppies are $80 ($75 adoption and $5 microchip).
This includes spay or neuter procedure, heartworm test if over 6 mos, age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming and microchip. For puppies, you should include costs of follow-up booster shots.

Adoption Fee for Cats and Kittens are $70 ($65 adoption and $5 microchip).
This includes spay or neuter procedure, leukemia test if over 6 mos., age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming and microchip. For kittens, you should include costs of follow-up booster shots.

Adoption fees are payable to Oconee County Animal Control. Oconee County ONLY accepts check and cash. Microchip fee payable to Oconee Humane Society. OHS accepts cash, check, credit or debit card.
